A Watch with History – Made in Ruhla, Germany

The Bauhaus watch brand is closely connected to the long tradition of watchmaking in Ruhla, Thuringia. The watches are assembled in the historic Bauhaus-style building of the former VEB Uhrenwerke Ruhla, constructed in 1929 according to designs by the renowned architectural firm Schreiter & Schlag.

Today, this historic building belongs to the family-owned watch company POINTtec, which also produces watches under the Zeppelin and Iron Annie brands. A genuine piece of German watchmaking history!

Inside the polished stainless steel case beats the reliable Japanese Citizen-Miyota 8285 automatic movement with 21 jewels, visible through the exhibition case back. The movement features manual winding, hacking seconds and a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
