For lovers of reduced designs and “form follows function”, the watch brand BAUHAUS has all the attributes of the eponymous design direction and shines with a fresh, colorful style. With the new brand and the new Bauhaus watches, the Munich family owned company POINTtec is celebrating the incorporation of the Bauhaus building of the former VEB Uhrenwerke Ruhla and the watch assembly housed therein in Ruhla, Thuringia, Germany  into the family business. The building, in which the watch brands ZEPPELIN and IRON ANNIE have been produced for decades, was built in 1929 in the Bauhaus style based on designs by the famous Jena architectural firm Schreiter & Schlag and is now considered one of Ruhla's most important listed cultural monuments.
