STRELA SIGNAL – Mechanical Alarm Watch with Legendary Poljot Caliber 2612.1
Reference SIG44LABR-IPB
A watch that does more than tell the time – it reminds you of it.
The STRELA SIGNAL combines extraordinary design with one of the rarest complications in classic watchmaking today: a fully mechanical alarm function.
While modern watches remain silent, this STRELA has a real mechanical voice – a distinctive buzzing alarm sound produced entirely by a hand-wound movement.
The Legendary Poljot 2612.1 Alarm Movement
At the heart of this STRELA beats the legendary Russian Poljot Caliber 2612.1 – a mechanical alarm movement with a fascinating history. Technically, it is based on the famous Swiss AS 1475 movement from the renowned movement manufacturer Adolph Schild S.A., later further developed in the Soviet Union.
- Hand-wound mechanical movement
- 18 jewels
- Two separate mainspring barrels
- Monometallic balance wheel
- 18,000 vibrations per hour
- Mechanical alarm complication
- Approx. 13 seconds alarm duration when fully wound
The upper crown is used to wind and set the alarm. The red triangular hand indicates the desired alarm time. Once reached, the movement begins to buzz loudly with its unmistakable vintage mechanical sound – a fascinating experience rarely found in modern watches.
The Poljot 2612.1 movement has not been produced for many years. The movements available today originate from original Poljot stock and are becoming increasingly rare.
Distinctive Vintage Case Design
The STRELA SIGNAL features a highly unusual and striking case design. The tonneau-shaped stainless steel case with durable black IPB coating is inspired by the legendary Soviet Poljot and Sekonda alarm watches of the 1970s and 1980s.
- Diameter: 44 mm
- Diameter incl. crown: 45 mm
- Lug-to-lug length: 50 mm
- Height: 13 mm
- Lug width: 22 mm
- Crystal: Hardened mineral glass
Instrument-Style Dial with Vintage Character
The brown dial with Latin lettering combines vintage aesthetics with excellent readability. Silver hands with luminous inserts, red accents and the characteristic triangular alarm hand create a bold and unmistakable design.
Caseback with Space History
The beautifully decorated caseback features cosmonaut Alexey Leonov during his historic spacewalk on March 18th, 1965.
Leonov became the first human being ever to leave a spacecraft and float freely in space. This engraving turns the STRELA SIGNAL into a small piece of space exploration history on your wrist.
