The Tribute is a Strela hand-wound watch featuring the rare Poljot Vintage Movement 2609. This watch stands out with its timeless design and high accuracy.

This watch embodies classic watchmaking craftsmanship and timeless design.

The watch's case is made of polished and brushed stainless steel, with a diameter of 40mm (43mm including the crown). It has a height of 11.8mm and a lug-to-lug width of 47mm.

Featuring an anti-reflective mineral crystal and a lug width of 20mm.

A special feature of this watch is the Poljot 2609 movement, which has not been in production for many years. Strela acquired some of these vintage movements from original Poljot stock and subjected them to a thorough overhaul, cleaning, and re-oiling.

The Poljot 2609 movement boasts 17 jewels, operates at 18,000 semi-oscillations per hour, and includes shock protection, central seconds, and an impressive power reserve of about 40 hours. It is considered one of the most important and reliable movements ever produced by the 1st Moscow Watch Factory (Poljot).

The créme beige dial of the Tribute 1965TR40 features the typical Poljot Strela design of the 60ies and is inscribed in Cyrillic. It features golden hands, golden numbers and indexes plus a blue second hand, providing an appealing contrast to the dial.

The intricately decorated case back depicts the image of the extravehicular activity of Alexei Arkhipovich Leonov, the Soviet cosmonaut who was the first person to exit his spacecraft and float freely in space, tethered only by a rope - a historic moment in space exploration.

This watch is limited to 250 pieces and comes with a Strela textile strap and a Strela watch case.
