My very favorites : The STRELA chronographs belong to the finest and most classic watches made in Russia! Besides the familiar , classic versions with 38mm diameter, there are now the long awaited, brand new models with 42mm diameter and with saphire crystal !
In the 50´s to 70's Poljot produced the famous Strela "column wheel" chronographs with the caliber 3017.
The actual produced Strelas are powered by the Poljot caliber 3133 which also becomes rare now and these new Strelas honour their famous predecessors !
This Strela Chronograph Nr. CO42CYB has the name "Cosmos" - it has a massive, brushed stainless steel case with a polished bezel, polished bandconnections and pushers/crown. The detailled and perfectly finished watchcase has a diameter of 42mm ( with crown 44.8 mm ), a height of 14 mm , a weight of 90 grams incl. leather strap and a bandwidth of 22mm complete lug-to-lug width is 51mm.
The baguette-shaped pushers and the gracile crown resemble exactly the old Strela models.
A slightly curved, scratch-resistant sapphire glass provides a clear view on the black Strela dial with cyrillic text. The dial of this Version CO42CYB "Cosmos" is completely labeled in cyrillic and shows a tachymeter scale, a telemeter scale and very original luminous Strela-hands and luminous indexes. The date is positioned between the numbers "4" and "5" .
The polished crystal back is screwed, inscribed in cyrillic on the side of the glass and engraved with the serial number.
Very special: Poljot caliber 3133 with blue screws ! This robust Poljot 3133 manual winding caliber has 23 jewels, 21.600 halfrotations/hour , shock protection , and approximately 48 hours power reserve.
The models of the 60's were manufactured under the name Poljot , Sekonda and Strela - Poljot once differed between better watches ( "Class1" ) for the Export-market and the watches for the sale within the Soviet Union. Nowadays there is no such difference, but they remind on this historical fact by using the "Class 1" signature on these new watches. In this version in cyrillic under the word "chronograph ".
This watch comes with watchbox .
Delivery is including 2 additional high quality RIOS1931 leather straps, Nr. 9010SW Louisiana Crocodile Calf in black and Nr. 9010BF Montana Buffalo in black.
( for my customers outside of Europe = the Exportprice is EUR: 626.- the shop deducts the Tax automatically... )
