Here are the details of this special automatic:

High-quality automatic caliber NH35A from Seiko with 24 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour, bidirectional rotor,  Diashock shock protection and 45-hours power reserve.

Stainless steel case; Parts of the clock were painted by hand with orange-red shades and hardened in the oven - CERAMIC!

Sapphire crystal

5 ATM - black dial with Superluminova,  screweded crystal back

Crown protecion

50mm diameter at 15mm height - weight of the watch 143 grams.

Another feature is the simple but very functional coloring of the model. Red-orange tones are not only reminiscent of the eponymous planet or a fire, but are also striking and represent a signal color. Certain parts of the clock were painted with these shades and cured in the oven. Although you might think that painting parts by themselves is not an extraordinary technique, it is important to keep an eye on the size of each part. With a case diameter of just 50mm, painting the tiny parts is a challenge and a masterpiece at the same time. Since paints are usually applied several times to achieve a high quality result (which is also the case in the case of "Mars"), painting should not be considered a cheap alternative to other dyeing or coating techniques.
