MOSCOW CLASSIC AERONAVIGATOR

A classic wristwatch with russian mechanical Molnija hand-wound caliber 3602.

The crystal back  provides a clear view of a veritable pocket watch movement with decorated movement bridges/cocks and blued movement screws.

A large and correspondingly insensitive balance wheel oscillates at a comfortable 18,000 vibrations per hour and the escape wheel, whose height play is limited by a cover plate, rotates under a separate cock.

MOLNIJA 3602 The Molnija 3602, which was produced for almost fifty years, between 1960 and 2008. It goes back to the Cortebert 616, which was produced in Switzerland in the 1930s and 1940s, and whose machines were probably subsequently sold to Russia.

Over time, this work was modified several times, in particular the height increased by over a millimeter, and the decoration became more and more economical until, towards the end, almost no decorative cuts and other decorations were added.
