Vostok Komandirskie Titan 24H
The Vostok Komandirskie 24H Titan is far more than just a classic Russian wristwatch – it is a true piece of functional watchmaking history. With its extraordinary 24-hour display, robust mechanical movement and distinctive design, it represents the decades-long tradition of the famous Vostok watch factory in Chistopol.
Inside beats the proven mechanical Vostok manufacture caliber 2424 with 17 jewels, shock protection and a power reserve of at least 36 hours. The movement is known for its durability, reliability and easy serviceability – a construction that has proven itself for decades under demanding conditions.
The Special Feature: A True 24-Hour Watch
Unlike conventional wristwatches, the hour hand of this Vostok does not circle the dial twice per day, but only once every 24 hours. This allows the time of day to be read immediately and in a particularly intuitive way.
Originally, 24-hour watches were developed primarily for military operations, pilots, submarine crews, polar explorers and people working for long periods without clear daylight conditions. In regions with polar nights or during military missions, these watches helped reliably prevent confusion between day and night.
24-hour watches also have a long tradition in Soviet military and space history. They were regarded as highly functional instruments for people who depended on precise timekeeping under extraordinary conditions.
The black 24-hour dial with its large Arabic numerals, bright luminous markers and striking red seconds hand ensures excellent readability while giving the watch its unmistakable character. The distinctive bezel together with the robust black Zulu nylon strap perfectly underline the authentic military look of the Komandirskie series.
The watch is still manufactured today at the traditional Vostok watch factory in Chistopol (Republic of Tatarstan, Russia). The factory was relocated from Moscow to Tatarstan during World War II and continues to produce mechanical wristwatches with unmistakable Russian identity to this day.
The watch is delivered as a complete set including box and papers.

Recommended Accessory
As a perfect addition, we recommend the RIOS1931 Buffalo Leather Strap Montana (see below), reference 9010BF.
Reading the time on a 24-hour watch requires a short period of adjustment – but it becomes even more enjoyable once people around you point out what they believe to be the “wrong” time :-)
Instead of rotating twice per day, the hour hand only completes one full rotation every 24 hours. Originally, such watches were designed for people who could not distinguish between day and night based on their surroundings, such as polar explorers, submarine crews and military personnel.
The Russian watch manufacturer Vostok Inc. “Tschistopolsky” produces these watches under the name VOSTOK (Russian for “East”) in many different versions. Among collectors and enthusiasts of Russian watches, Vostok is highly respected for the robustness and outstanding value for money of its timepieces.
The watches are produced in the city of Chistopol in the Russian province of Tatarstan. Production originally began in Moscow but was relocated to Tatarstan during World War II.
