Sometimes, exceptional watches are not created in large corporations – but through passion, precision, and true craftsmanship. This is exactly the case with the new “Model 01”, designed by Thuringian master dental technician Michael Wikner from Bad Tabarz in collaboration with the traditional UMF Ruhla watch factory.
I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Wikner personally during a factory tour in Ruhla. At the Watchtime Düsseldorf fair, I happened to notice the new watch on his wrist – and was immediately impressed. Not as a competitor, but as a kindred spirit who shares the same passion that has driven me since 1992: the fascination with special and classic timepieces. I am therefore delighted that we have established a small partnership, allowing me to offer a few of these limited-edition watches exclusively at Poljot24.de.
Elegance Meets Precision – The Design
The UMF Ruhla “Model 01” features a slim 39 mm stainless-steel case with only 7 mm thickness – modern, timeless, and perfectly balanced for any occasion. The champagne-colored dial with applied indices radiates understated elegance and harmony. Thanks to its Super-LumiNova coating, the hands and hour markers glow in a refined blue hue in the dark.
