Distinctive design, high-quality craftsmanship and more than 150 years of watchmaking tradition: With the new UMF-RUHLA 1942M-2 "Ruhla Diver", the historic German watch brand from Thuringia presents a classic mechanical diving watch with a character all its own.

The deep black dial, generously sized luminous hour markers and distinctive hands ensure excellent legibility. The angular brushed stainless steel case and black ceramic rotating bezel perfectly complement its robust appearance. A sporty mechanical watch that looks just as impressive underwater as it does in everyday life.

Reliable Mechanical Movement and Professional Features

Inside the watch beats the proven Japanese Seiko NH35A automatic movement, featuring 24 jewels and operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz).

This robust and reliable calibre offers a power reserve of more than 41 hours, a date display with quick adjustment and a bidirectional automatic winding rotor. The movement can also be wound manually using the crown.

Thanks to its hacking seconds function, the seconds hand stops when the crown is pulled out for time setting, allowing precise synchronization. A shock protection system safeguards the delicate balance staff. The NH35A is one of the world's most widely proven Japanese automatic movements, appreciated for its durability, reliability and service-friendly construction.

The slightly domed sapphire crystal provides excellent scratch resistance. The unidirectional ceramic bezel with 120 clicks, screw-down crown and water resistance of 20 bar / 200 metres underline the character of a genuine diving watch.

The hands, hour markers and bezel feature Super-LumiNova luminous material, ensuring excellent readability even in low-light conditions.
