This Sturmanskie Gagarin was built in 2001 - for the occasion of the 40th anniversary (1961-2001) of the flight of Yuri Gagarin on April 12, 1961.
The polished stainless steel case has a small diameter of 33 mm (with crown 35 mm), a height of 11 mm, a bandwidth of 16mm and a hardened, slightly curved mineral glass.
The screwed back is nicely decorated and shows also the words of Yuri Gagarin on his rocket launch "It starts now! "
Black dial with green arabic numbers and hands - with red second hand.
Russian manual winding caliber Zarija Z2014A with 22 jewels, 30 hours power reserve, 18.000 halfrotations/hour and shock protection. Limited to 500 pieces.
The design of this watch is strongly inspired by the Poljot which the cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin did wear during his flight into space!
