THROUGH SPACE AND TIME

With the new “ORBITA” from Poljot-International.

The International Space Station, abbreviated to ISS, is the largest and longest-lived space station known to mankind. Originally planned as a military station by the USA, it has been operated and further developed since the start of construction in 1998 in international cooperation with 16 countries and 5 space agencies.

It is the largest satellite in Earth orbit and the largest man-made object in space. The ISS orbits the earth once in about 93 minutes at an altitude of about 400 km. Since November 2, 2000, the ISS has been permanently inhabited by astronauts.

The new “Orbita” model is dedicated precisely to this ISS space station, with the entire design direction meticulously adapted to the space theme.

Looking at the dial, the second time zone at 3 o'clock, which represents the ISS space station and the earth, immediately catches the eye. The second hand at the 6 o'clock position is symbolically designed as a small space station.

The red marking makes it easier to read the seconds. The hour markers on the outer area of the dial are placed in the form of small stars, which once again takes up the space theme.

There is also a day and night display in the 9 o'clock area.

All blue-coated hands are also provided with blue luminescent paint to ensure good readability of the time even in the dark.

A gray suede strap with side stitching and an embedded metal logo fully underlines the theme.

The round 43 mm stainless steel case is covered with a sapphire crystal and carries the skeletonized and engraved hand-wound caliber 9931-PI with a power reserve of 38 hours, which is visible through a glass back.

Limited edition of 400 pieces.

Details:

This ORBITA skeleton watch has a stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 mm (with crown 48 mm), 13 mm height and 20 mm lug width.

The large, fluted crown is easy to use - the sapphire glass shows the robust and high-quality, skeletonized hand-wound caliber PI 9931 with 21,600 vibrations, 17 jewels, shock protection and a power reserve of approx. 38 hours.

The small second is displayed at position "6".

Screwed glass back with engraved limited edition number (300 pieces) on the edge.

The caliber with blued screws and decoration is also a feast for the eyes from the back - you can also watch the tensioning of the spring when winding the watch!

A second time display is mounted at position "3" - this can be set accordingly by turning the winding crown backwards - so business travelers & globetrotters, for example, can always set the time at home.

At position "9" a metal disc shows the moon and the sun - this rotating disc is linked to the time and serves as a day or night display.
