Buran Siberia, from collection, slightly used!

With extremely rare decorated Molnija caliber 3603 (russian copy of UNITAS).

Exact time from snowy Russia! "Buran" means "snowstorm in the Tundra" and this rare watch has the proud name "Buran Siberia"!

The elegant red gold plated stainless steel case has a diameter of 45mm and a height of 13mm , but because of the special bent form of the case it fits a wrist very well and is comfortable to wear.

The nice guilloched (riffled) silver dial has golden arabic numbers and hands and shows the small second at the position "9".

At the position "6" you can see the cyrillic name of Siberia.

The screwed crystal back shows the complex decorated (Geneva stripes and blue screws) movement Molnija  caliber 3603 (this caliber has 18 jewels, 41 hours power reserve, shock protection and 18000 halfvibrations/hour) The bandwidth is 22mm. Limited to 999 pieces.

Unfortunately, this robust and beautiful decorated caliber is no longer in production, so it gets very rare nowadays.

This rare Molnija caliber 3603 comes from the Molnija factory in Chelyabinsk, Ural, which today successfully produces pocket watch movements and precision devices for aircraft and military vehicles. The Molnija watch factory was founded in Ural at the beginning of WW2, as the russian watch industry which was concentrated in Moscow, was decentralized  for strategic security reasons.
